Kinnett presents at Mexican Basic ED Course in Monterrey, Mexico
Jim Kinnett along with four other colleagues taught the Basic Economic Development Course at the EGAP of Monterrey Tech, one of the largest Universities in Mexico. A number of Regional Campus Directors were in attendance to assist in giving feedback concerning content and relevance to give the Course a twist benefiting the Mexican student and professional. Mr. Kinnett was quite busy during the four days teaching four of the twelve courses including Community Development, ED Financing, Real Estate Development and Reuse and Working with and Analyzing the Prospect.
During the course of the three days of instruction we learned that in some instances that those professionals that are practicing in Mexico are indeed as advanced or even better prepared for work in the Economic Development field than their counterparts here in the US. We are looking forward to taking this course to all areas of Mexico so that they can be a part of the ever increasing profession of Economic Development around the World.
